Since I’ve been blogging I’ve been fortunate to have a few conversations with other bloggers & many other people who are also trying to find constructive ways to manage all this “free time”. Since Facebook is such a popular networking site and has capabilities that this blog doesn’t, I have decided to start an Active Leisure Facebook page. This page will provide people with a place to meet up, share lay-off stories, offer suggestions for job hunting or to just simply vent frustrations. Sometimes it just helps to know that there are other people out there in the same spot you are.

My story is this: marriage is not about me, but marriage is about us. Consequently both partners have a responsibility to each other and their children to stay healthy, fit and make time for each other.
